1990 Alfa Romeo 75 Turbo Evoluzione S1

Description

This car is one of the last and most fascinating creations by Alfa Romeo in the world of motorsport. With chassis CBM005, it was a standout in the 1990 Italian Superturismo Championship, driven by talented pilots such as Nicola Larini, Gianni Morbidelli, and Alessandro Zampedri. Despite his commitments in Formula 1, Larini managed to win five of the eight races he participated in, bringing the Alfa 75 to the top, competing against fierce rivals like the BMW M3.
The 75 Turbo Evoluzione, equipped with a 4-cylinder Garrett turbo engine capable of delivering over 400 horsepower, was a highly competitive machine. Weighing just 995 kg, thanks to a lightweight yet reinforced chassis and meticulous technical enhancements, the car proved its strength in a tightly contested championship.
After being sold by the CiBiEmme team at the end of the 1990 season, the car continued to race in subsequent seasons. Recently, it returned to Italy, where it was restored to its original configuration, including the Superturismo livery details and mechanical components. Today, this Alfa 75 stands as a true icon of motorsport, ready to tell its story once again in historic reenactments and prestigious gatherings.
